Selwyn and Kelly are passionate revivalists who live to see heaven touch earth, in and through their lives and the lives of everyone around them, especially the next generation. They are parents to 5 teenage/young adult children and have lived in the Mighty Manawatū for many years now. Two of their own children currently have extra special needs, which makes their family life very full and colourful and has made their own relationship with God very deep and one forged in and through fire over many years. As of 2023, they are also now proud grandparents to a beautiful little girl.

Both Kelly and Selwyn are trained high school teachers and counsellors and are the NZ Captains (leaders) for the School of Faith, an online school of supernatural ministry training that has been in NZ for 5 years now. As a couple, they have heard the Lord very clearly direct them to provide another option for the body of Christ in NZ to gather together around His Presence regularly and to support each other to GO and bring in the huge harvest of new believers that they believe have just started to come into the Kingdom, and hence the birth of Te Puna Wai church.
